Hi Bob. Hi Bill by Eydie AarhusThank you, Eydie Aarhus for being my guest! Eydie hasn’t published … yet, but judging from her humorous blog posts, she’s got potential. She’s also a fabulous photographer. This is one of my favorites. I highly recommend you check out her blog.

1) What’s your name? Where can we find you? Blog? Twitter? Facebook?

Eydie Aarhus.

2) Where do you live?

San Antonio, Texas

3) How long have you been writing? How many books have you written? They can be published or not published.

Off and on for years.  1 book, in the works, and not sure I have faith in it to publish. I do hope to write a book on my photography.

I love to Blog.  I am not sure I fit into these questions and your purpose here, but the baby is napping and I am ignoring my kitchen and the mountain of laundry.

4) What genre do you like writing the most? What challenges do you face in this genre?

Tragic love stories.  but more blog writing now.

5) Tell me a little about your current WIP.

Sorry, but what is an WIP? Again, I’m more photography based.

Melissa interjecting: Sorry, Eydie. WIP is short for “Work in Progress”. It usually relates to the story/art/etc that is absorbing most of your attention and focus.

6) How do you typically begin your project? Do you create outlines and character profiles or jump in head first with the initial idea?

Jump in, then rewrite, then erase, then jump back in, then I’m moving right along.

7) What aspect of your writing do you consider your strength? Your weakness?

Love to blog, tell my stories.  Use any form of comedy. My weakness is grammar.  Sometimes you would think I never attended school.

8) Do you focus on one project or do you work on multiple manuscripts at once?

Still on 1 book, been a few years in the making.  Plus blogging.

9) Probably the editing process is our most challenging. How do you go about editing your work? Do you have any tips you’d like to share?

I have my husband go over things sometimes.  Sometimes I just go with it.

10) Now choose just one of your books and add a link to it.

The only thing I have out there with my writing is my blog.  Link is above.

Thank you again, Eydie!
